Florida Medical Center selects EmpowER...FLORIDA MEDICAL CENTER PARTNERS WITH EMPOWER SYSTEMS
Emergency Care Documentation Systems (ECDS), Chicago-based vendor of the critically acclaimed EmpowER System electronic medical record, is proud to announce their newest installation at Florida Medical Center in Fort Lauderdale.
FMC, a Tenet hospital and McKesson facility, is upgrading its emergency department to be on the fast track to healthcare technology developments. EmpowER will allow doctors and nurses to access patient information in real time rather than having to search for a paper chart. Patients’ ER visits are electronically tracked from triage through discharge, thus patient wait times and eliminating bottlenecks to the patient flow process that can be encumbered by handwritten charting methods.
