First Iowa Hospital to Get EmpowERed
(Des Moines, IA; December 7, 2006) – Broadlawns Medical Center in Des Moines, IA, went live with EmpowER on December 6.
Broadlawns Medical Center boasts a rich history of over 82 years of “Caring for Our Community™” of Polk County. While the name of the facility has changed over the years, the care and compassion for the needs of the whole family have remained constant. Today, Broadlawns Medical Center is comprised of an acute care hospital serving medical, surgical, pediatrics and psychiatric patients; a fifty-member physician practice overseeing numerous clinics and outpatient services; a Family Practice Residency Program offering numerous clinics and outpatient services’ and a center where grant funded programs of a clinical and human services nature can flourish.
